DEFINITION OF A UFO
A UFO is the reported perception of a phenomenon in the sky by day or by night that the observer cannot explain at the time of the sighting, or not clearly can explain it as a conventional flying object.
BASIC STATEMENT OF THE PHENOMENON
The UFO phenomenon is not a product of the imagination of man, but is a real, sometimes proven by physical interaction. Unidentified flying objects are, they are observed and reported worldwide.
THE WITNESS OF SIGHTING
The witness of a UFO-sighting is not a weirdo, but the most important element of our work. The UFO witness is the one who was in direct contact with the phenomenon. His statements are to be taken seriously. No one needs to be ashamed of himself or to clear oneself for his observation. A UFO sighting can happen to anyone of us, the phenomenon doesn’t stop for anyone. Among the witnesses are both very poor tin shack dwellers as well as politicians, pilots, scientists or people like you and me. Nobody has to be ashamed that he has seen something he does not know.
UFO’s AND IFO’s
It is undisputed that there is a high number of reports of sightings of unidentified flying objects, which is due to conventional flying vehicles. It is also fact that there are a smaller number of sightings that cannot be explained by any earthly aircraft. The UFO phenomenon consists of both UFOs (unidentified flying objects) and IFO (identified flying objects).
ORIGIN OF UFO’s
A UFO (unidentified flying object) has basically nothing to do with little green men from Mars. Classification as an object that could not be identified, does not automatically mean that the object has an extraterrestrial origin. There are no green men sitting in an UFO, as represented by the media repeatedly falsely.
We work according to the principles of righteous scientific practice in the study of the UFO phenomenon
In 2011, the DEGUFO fully compared with the Society for the Exploration of the UFO phenomenon (GEP eV) to seal ourselfs off to CENAP.
